A Professional College affiliated to Karnataka University, Dharwad leading to B. Ed degree and recognized by NCTE New Delhi now named as SHREE JNAANESHWARI COLLEGE OF EDUCATION (B. Ed) BHATKAL, is being started during this academic year 2005-06 as a Self Financing, Non-Commercial, Private, Un-Aided Institution to cater to the requirements of this part of area, which is entirely depending on the popular contributions from the general public, which are totally exempt from the payment of Income Tax u/s. 80 (G) of the I.T Act, 1961. |
Aim is to develop among student teachers a clear understanding of the psychology of their students and enable them to undertake action research and use innovative practices. So that they can foster in them a desire for life-long learning.
B. Ed. Course is of two-semesters over a period of one year. Each semester consisting of 16 weeks.
In the first semester there shall be 7 papers (4 core papers + 2 MOT's + 1 Computer Education) and Practicum related to Practice teaching and to Community Oriented Activities. In the second semester there shall be 7 papers (4 core papers + 2 MOT's + 1 optional paper) and Practicum related to Practice teaching and community oriented activities. |
